Abstract：B3grindingballstelisahig-carbonchromiumgrindingballstel with excellentcost-effectivenesandprocess performance.Itis widelyused inindustries such asminingandbuilding materialsdueto itssuperiorhardness，toughness， and fracture resistance.Leveraging advanced equipment including BOF-LF-VD refining，large billet continuous casting， and semi-continuous rollng processs，Fujian SanstelGroupconducted mechanism analysis to adresstheR&Dchalleges of B3 grinding ballsteel.Thecompany designed arational production processflowand successfullydeveloped high-carbon chromium grinding ballsteel B3 that metscustomerrequirements through optimized component design，three-stagerefining， electromagnetic stiring continuous casting technology，segmented heating，high-reductionrolling，and rapid colingon cooling beds. This achievement has significantly enhanced the enterprise's market competitiveness.
