Practice and research on hydrogen energy application in coastal steel plants

Abstract:This articlecombines currentlow-carbonand hydrogen energy application technologies athome andabroad,with the aim ofreducingcarbon and emissons through hydrogen energyapplication.Followingthe ideas of cascade utilization and circularutilization,itdelves intothe processcharacteristicsandregionalresource situationofcoastallong process steel enterprises.Firstly,itexplainsthehydrogenenergyacquisitiontechnology,hydrogenusage,andtechnicalparameters curentlyused inthe steel industry.Thesecondistodevelopand implementtechnologiessuchasplateelectrolysis water bilet hydrogen energycuting andcold rolling production line hydrogenrecycling.Atthesame time,byimplementing solar energyinthefactoryareatoobtaingreenelectricity,thegreenandlow-carbonpropertiesofhydrogeninusewillbeenhanced. Thirdly,basedothecharacteristicsofregionalresourcs,researchthetechologicaloutesforeproductiondisposal, and use of gren hydrogen,such as utilizing wind energyto generate electricity inofshore plant areasand electrolyzing wateronsite,andtransporting hydrogenandoxygen to the plant areas;Usingcoastal saline alkali landto plantredand bamboo,obtaining hydrogen gas throughgasification processandtransportingittothefactoryarea.Fourthly,aportionof the greenhydrogen mentionedabovecanbeusedforexistingslabcuting,sintering materialsurfaceinjection,coldrolldstrip protectiongas,etc.Another portioncanbe studied forsubsequent projectssuchasfermentation toproduce ethanol,blast furnacetuyereinjection,andhydrogenbasedverticalfurnaces.Asoneof thetechnologiesforgreentransformationinsteel plants,research has shown good results and benefits, providing reference for the industry.
