Abstract：This paper conducts a systematic investigation and analysis of the current status and characteristics of informationbehavior courses in iSchool inNorthAmerica.Taking 26 master's-level information behavior coursesoffered by 22 North American iSchools as research subjects，the study focuses on four aspects：teaching objectives， content，instructional methods，andcourse assessment.These courses exhibitthe following characteristics： multilayered teaching objectives，multi-modular teaching content，diversified teaching methods，and multi-dimensional course assessment.The study ofers valuable references for theoptimization of information behavior-related curricula in China.
