Abstract:This paper conducts a systematic investigation and analysis of the current status and characteristics of informationbehavior courses in iSchool inNorthAmerica.Taking 26 master's-level information behavior coursesoffered by 22 North American iSchools as research subjects,the study focuses on four aspects:teaching objectives, content,instructional methods,andcourse assessment.These courses exhibitthe following characteristics: multilayered teaching objectives,multi-modular teaching content,diversified teaching methods,and multi-dimensional course assessment.The study ofers valuable references for theoptimization of information behavior-related curricula in China.
