Abstract:Since thecrudesteeloutputofChina'sironandsteelindustryexceeded1OOmillontons in1996,the scale of productioncapacityhascontinued to expand.At present,theindustryhas entered thekey transition periodof crude steel production peak and industrial structure optimization.This paper analyzes the response experience of major steel powers such as the United States,Japan,and Europe afterthedemand inflection point,andcompares the new mechanism ofcapacitymanagementinChina'ssteelindustry.Inthiscontext,thecountermeasuresofironandstelenterprisesare putforward,which provides theoretical and practical reference for the optimizationof industrial structure of iron and steel industry,the challenge of peak capacity and the realization of high-quality development.
