Abstract： With the rapid development of information technology， the importance of metropolitan area networks as a bridge connecting users and core networks is becoming increasingly prominent. The innovative practice of data communication network architecture in metropolitan area networks has become a focus of attention for operators. In order to improve network performance， optimize user experience， reduce operation and maintenance costs， and enhance network security， this article explores a series of innovative technologies for data communication network architecture， aiming to promote the optimization and upgrading of metropolitan area networks and accelerate the modernization process of network architecture.
