Abstract: The Internet of Things technology has the functions of real-time monitoring, alarm linkage, remote control, etc. It plays an important role in the field of electrical engineering. This paper analyzes the specific application of the Internet of Things technology in the field of electrical engineering, and focuses on the application of the Internet of Things technology to electrical equipment condition maintenance, intelligent motors, smart grids, electrical fire systems, and electrical energy conservation design.
