AbstractTo adress the challenge ofOPAC systems being unable to provide personalized book recommendations for anonymous users，this paper proposes a non-personalized book recommendation method based on semantic expansion. Thealgorithm first extracts bibliographic metadataand thematic features fromthe library'sdata platform.Then，it collects user search behaviordata to derive user interest features.By comparing the semantic similaritybetween book features anduser interests，the system identifies books thatanonymous users may findappealing.Experimental validation was conducted using the Synonyms Chinese tool.Results indicate thatthe proposed method can effectively recommend semanticallrelevant books to anonymous users，thereby beter meeting user needs and enhancing the utilizationof library collections.
