Comparative Analysis of Open Science Monitoring Indicators on Foreign Academic Information Platforms

Abstract This paper conducts aclassficationand comparative analysis of institutional-levelopen science monitoring indicatorsprovided byfour foreignacademic information platforms.Itidentifies thestatusof indicatorprovision within each major category and examines the commonalities and differences acrossthe platforms’dashboards.To build a transparentand equitable responsible research evaluation system，China shouldcontinuously expand its indicatorsets to achieve diversified evaluation goals for open science.Efforts should also be made to broaden the scope of openness， including accelerating the development of national-levelopen science infrastructure，formulating national open access policies，enriching metadata，exploring thecreation ofa digitalobject identifiersystem similar to DOI，andestablishing citation standards.
