Music Documentation from the Perspective of Digital Humanities

Abstract With the continuous advancement of digital humanities technologies，the limitations of traditional music documentation have become increasinglyapparent，resulting inaprofound paradigm shift inthe field.Digital humanities technologies have notonly expanded the goals，subjects，and methods of music documentationbut also guided the field fromthe eraof measurement into the era of computation.This paper explores the appication of digital humanities technologiesinmusicdocumentation from four dimensions：digitization，semanticization，inteligentization，and visualization.The aim is to reveal the profound impactof digital humanities onmusic documentationand to forecast the future trends and directions in this evolving field.
