Abstract Thisarticle introduces the theory of professionalcommunityand presentsacase studyof“The Night for LibraryPeople，”alive-streaming event.Throughanin-depth analysis oftheprogramschedulesandreviews fromthree consecutive years，the author argues that“The Night for Library People”is an innovative practice for promoting the development of the library professional community.The event serves several functions，including expert knowledge sharing，recognizingand showcasinginnovativepractices withinthe field，enhancingprofesional learningandskills among librarians，ndincreasingprofessionalidentitybelonging，ndpride.Ialsomeets thefestivepsychologicalneeds of library professonals to celebrate the Chinese New Yearand look forward toapositive year ahead.The paper further explores the program’s innovative elements.
