【AbstractCurrentlytheglobalincidenceateofulerativecolitis（UC）isincreasingearbyyear.Conventional terapiesaoteffectively repair damaged tissueand reconstruct immune homeostasis，with a clinical remission rate of <50% ，and most of the patients arefacingproblemsschsdugresistance，reversibledamagetohmucosalbarierndfbrosis，hchqureoelapeutic methods.RecentstudieshaveshowthatbonemarrowmesenchymalstemcelsBMSCs），iththehelpoftheircharacteristicsofmultipotentialdiffrentiationandiflmmatorycemotais，anpreiselymodulatethemicroenvironmentbysretingantiflaatory mediatorsandimmunomodulatoryproteinsandignificantlypromotetheregeneratioandfunctionalrecoveryofcolonicmucosa.Based onthesefindings，CsavecoenimporantresearchirectiointefieldofUCtreatment.refore，tisrticleiteatesistingthrapeuticsystemsandsystematicallynalyzestheterapeuticmchanismofSCs，inorder toprovideanewtheoeticalbasis and clinical guidance for the treatment of UC.
