【AbstractColesterol,sanimportantomponentofcellmmbranes,playsultifacetedrole ineditingumorimmunomulatio anddrugnterventio.Inaseofhoesterolmetabolicimbalane,teaccumulatioofolesterolmetabolicintermediates,thang inconcentratios,ndtegulatioofelatedignalingpathayscanecttumorimmunitybypromotingifammatioandiing immunecellfnction.Preclinicalandclicalstudieshaveshowthatcontrolingcholesterolmetabolismcaninhbit tumorrowthreshapebodyimuneregulationandehanceantitumorimmunity.Adeepunderstandingoftheasociationbetweeimmunecsand cholesterolmetabolicpathwaysinthetumoricroenvironmentcanhelptodevelopnoveldrugs targetingcholesterolmetabolism.This articlereviewstheultifacetedoleofcholesterolanditsdrivedmetabolitesinthetumormicroenvironmentbyregulatingarious typesofimmunecellschasyelidderiedsuppressrcels,moasociatedmacropages,dendriccels,ndT-lypoytes, as wellasthecharacteristicsoftumorimmunomodulationmediatedbycholesterolmetabolismandtheadvancesinpharmaceuticalresearch on improving the immune function of the body by intervening againstcholesterol,inorderto furtherprovidenewideasanda therapeutic basis for cholesterol modulation and intervention in tumor immunotherapy.
