Review and Prospect of Settlement Space Research on Jiangnan Wate Towns: A Knowledge Graph Analysis Based on CiteSpace

bstractTediversityandheterogeneityofthewatersystemenvironmenthavenurturedthehighlydistinctivesetlementsinJiangnan WaterTowns.Scientifcresearchonthetraditional humansetlementspaceinJiangnanisof great significanceforconstructing livable watertownspatial scenarios,protecting thevalueofarchitectural heritage,and inheriting thecultureofJiangnan.By adoptingasystematicandquantitativeliteraturereviewmethod,thisstudycombs troughresearchresultsfomrelevantdomestic andforeignworks,jourmals,andreports.Relying onthescientific knowledgegraphanalysisof the CiteSpacevisualization software,itcomprehensivelyexaminestheresearchstatusofthisfieldfromaspectssuchaspublicationtrendsandesearch hotspots.Onthisbasis,theexistingstudiesarereviewed thematicallaccording todisciplinarycharactersticsfromperspectives including spatialphenomenonanalysis,theoreticalorderdiscussion,anddesignbehaviorappication,soas tocostructa systematicreview system featuring theorganicunityof "phenomenon-order-behavior"for thesettement spaceofJiangnan WaterTwns.Guidedbythenationalpolicyof"comprehensiveruralrevitalization"inthenewera,thisstudyaims toupgradethe scientificsystemforsettementspaceresearchandimnovateinpractice-orienteddesignmethods.Thisefort isintendedtoform interdiscipliaryandintegratedresearchideasandparadigms,andexploreadevelopmentdirectionwithChinesecharacteristics and Jiangnanconnotations for the comprehensive development of the settlements in Jiangnan Water Towns.
