Spatial Evolution of Urban Manufacturing Industry in the Context of Artificial Intelligence Technology Application: An Study of Dongguan

AbstractFocusingonthemanufacturingsectorsignificantlyimpactedbyartificialintellgence,thisstdytakes Dongguan Cityasan exampletoinvestigate theevolutionofurbanmanufacturingspaceunder the influenceofartificialintellgence.Dongguanis renowned forhaving thehighestlevelofartificial intellgenceappication andthemostadvancedmanufacturingcapabilities in China. Utilizing data from manufacturing enterprises between 2O09 and 2019,this paper uses spatial analysis methods and dierentialandlinearregressionmodels tovalidatethefidings.Theresultsshowthat:(1)Thedistributionofthemanufacturing industryapplyngartifcialintelligenceisgaduallycenteredinheresarchanddevelopmentubsespecallteentepisewith mediumandhigh machinereplacementrates.(2)Theapplicationofartificialinteligencetechnologymakes thedistributionof the manufacturngidustrymoreconcentrated,andthespatialaglomerationdegreeofmanufacturingenterpriseswithedium machinereplacementrateisthestrongest.(3)Theapplicationoftificialintelligenehasimprovedtespatialatractivesof the manufacturingindustrytootherenterprises,atractingotherenterprises togatheraround manufacturingenterprises tataply artificialintellgence,especiallyaroundmanufacturingenterprises withighmachineeplacementrates.(4)Tecurentplaing canbere-examiedfromtreeaspects:industriallayout,landus,ndindustry-cityelatiosip.ispaperextendstesach onthe elationshipbetweenartificial intellgenceandurbandevelopmentfromthesocio-economic leveltothespatiallevel, providing theoretical support for the healthy development of cities under the new technological revolution.
