【Abstract】 Objective To compare the application value of difusion-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） and dynamic contrast-enhanced CT scanning in preoperative staging of colorectal cancer.MethodsThe studysubjects were 78 patients with colorectal cancer diagnosed bysurgeryand pathology who visitedour hospital from June 2022 to April 2024. All 78 patients underwent preoperative staging diagnosisusing MRI difusionenhanced imaging and CT dynamic enhanced scanning.The diagnostic accuracy of the two imaging examination methods for preoperative TandN staging of patients was compared.ResultsThe diagnosticaccuracy of MRI diffusion-enhanced imaging technique for preoperative T staging was 92.3% （72/78）， while the diagnostic accuracy of CT dynamic enhanced scanning for preoperative T staging was 75.6% （59/78）.MRI was higher than CT （ χ =8.050， P =0.005）.The diagnostic accuracy of MRI difusion-enhanced imaging technique for preoperative N staging was 82.5% （66/8O），while the diagnostic accuracy of CT dynamic enhanced scan for preoperative Nstaging was 70.0% （20 （56/80）， with MRI being higher than CT（ χ′ =3.451，P=O.036）. ConclusionBoth MRI diffusion-enhanced imaging technology and CT dynamic enhanced scanning have high application value in preoperative staging diagnosis of colorectalcancer.The diagnostic accuracyof MRI diffusion-enhanced imaging technology is higher，and clinical examination methods can be reasonably selected according to the specific situation of patients.
