Abstract： Based on the perspective of two-way spillover of industrial chain，the impact of industry intelligent integration on the employment level of China's labor force was analyzed using industry panel data from 2Ol3 to 2O2O. The results show that the intelligent integration of industries has a significant substitution effect on labor employment，and the forward technological spillover significantly crowds out labor employment. The analysis of the mechanism indicates that a higher level of relational embeddedness within the industry can mitigate the suppressive effect of intelligent technology integration on employment. The heterogeneity analysis reveals that the effects of intelligent integration and’ spillover on labor employment are influenced by the type of industry factors and the skill level of the labor force.
