Abstract:Thisstudyaimedtoclarifytheoptimalapplicationrateofcitricacidforincreasing yieldinthecultivationof blackhighlandbarleyinLongziCounty,Shannan City,XizangAutonomousRegion.UsinglocalLongzisix-rowblack highland barley as material,five citric acid application treatments were set up,including 0kg/hm2 (CK), 15kg/hm2 (T1), 30kg/hm2 24 (T2), 45kg/hm2 (T3),and 60kg/hm2 (T4).The effects of urea and citric acid application on black highland barley yield formation,grainfillngdnamics,drymateraccumulation,ndnitrogenutlationefiiencywereivestigated.Thersultssowedthat,compared with CK,citric acidapplication treatment increased thegrainfillingrateofblackhighlandbarleyand enhanced the accumulation of dry matter and nitrogen indifferent parts at various growth stages,with T2 treatment being themost effective.Citric acid application enhanced the transport amount of dry matter and nitrogen stored invegetative organspre-flowering and increased the proportion of drymatter andnitrogen allocation in leaves during flowering,thereby significantly improved the total accumulation of photosynthates and their contribution to plant material supply. Thenumberof grainperspikecontributedthemosttoblack highlandbarleyyield.TheT2treatmensignificantlyincreasedyieldcomparedto CK,withasignificant increase in both efectivespikeletsandgrainnumber perspike.Inconclusion,applying30 kg/hm2 of citric acid with urea(T2)can effectively enhance theyieldof Longzi black highland barley.
