Analysis ofNutritional Quality of15Lamiaceae Species in Hunan

Abstract:This studyaimsto explorethe nutritional qualityofLamiaceae plants inthe grassland in western Hunanandscreen highqualitygermplasmresourcesforfeed.Fifteen germplasmsamples (3at te vegetativestageand12atthefoweringstage)ofLaiaceae werecolletedinegrassdinesteHuan.eotetofdyater(DM),udeprtein(CP),erextact(EE)debr (CF),crudeash(Ash),andnitrogen-freeextract (NFE)wasdeterminedforachsample.Tegreycoelationmethodwasusedfor comprehensiveevaluation.TheresultsshowedthatthecontentofDM,CP,EE,CF,AshndNFEintesamplesattheetatie stagewas 11.11%-22.59% 9.82%-22.63% 1.59%-3.59% , 21.30%-29.57% 9.48%-13.76% ,and 38.72%-48.46% ,respectively. Thecontent ofDMCP,EE,CF,Ash,and NFE inthe samplesat the flowering stage was 16.67%-44.71% , 5.79%-13.62% 0 0.66‰ 3.52% 25.12%-44.29% 2.92%-14.12% ,and 27.57%-50.23% ,respectively. The comprehensive evaluation results showed that at the vegetativestage,LeonuusjaponicushadthebstperfoanceandutriioalqualityAthefoweringstage,sodonlothoides performedthbstandadthebestutritionalqalityandMeehaniafrgesiiva.radicansClinopodiumgracile,andicotoena albescens had good nutritional quality.
