Abstract:This studyivestigatedtheefectsofsalt stressandaroma-enhancing fertilizationonsolubleprotein,soluble sugar, andL-prolinecontentsinrice leavesandgrains,aswellasriceyieldrevealingtheassociationmechanismbetweenphysiological responsesandyieldformationofriceundersaltstresandaroma-enancngfertilizationconditions.Saline-alkali tolerantcevaretis Jingliangyou326andShangliangyul38wereusedasthetestvarietis,potexperimentswereconductedtosimulatetesaltstrs environment,andthearoma-enhancingfertilizationtreatment wassetup.Theresultsshowedthatsaltstressignifcantlyceased solubleproteinandL-prolinecontentsinleaves,butafectedthesolublesugarsynthesisduringmid-growthstages(bootingandful headingstages)ofrice.Shuangliangyoul38exhibited generaly highersoluble proteinandsolublesugarcontentstanJingliagyou 326,demonstratingstrongerosmoticregulatiocapacity.GrainL-prolinesignificantlyaccumulatedundersaltstresswhilethe solublesugarcontentmarkedlydcreasedindicatingsalttresimpactedgrainqualitybyinterferingithsoublesugarandL-rolin metabolicpathways.Aroma-enhancingfertilizationandsaltstrescausedsignificantreductionsinefectivepanicleumberandthe theoretical yields of Jingliangyou 326 and Shuangliangyou l38 decreased by 81.93% and 84.94% respectively. Aroma-enhancing fertilization partially alleviated yieldlossunder salt stress through increasing thegrain number per panicle( 48.81% improvement in Shuangliangyoul38)buttheyieldcouldnotbefullrestoredtothelevelwithoutsaltstress.Thisresearchprovidesreferencefor bredingsateantvarietisdptiingfertlzationsraegisiliakalisois.Intefture,altlerantvartyeding should be integrated with fertilization technologies optimization to synergistically enhance the yield.
