Abstract： Fengtiannuo 4′ is a single-cross hybrid developed with the inbred line SX124 as the female parent and the inbred line SB34 as the male parent. In the regional trial in Hunan，2O21， the fresh ear yield averaged 11.78t/hm2 ，which represented an increase of 4.1% over the control. In the regional trial in 2O22， the average fresh ear yield of 'Fengtiannuo 4′ reached 12.59t/hm2 ，representing an increase of 5.7% over the control. Data from the 2021-2022 regional trials showed an average fresh ear yield of 12.19t/hm2 representing an increase of 4.9% over the control. The variety exhibited good quality， with amylose （dry basis） accounting for 1.9% of thetotalcrudestarchandatotalscoreof8.9pointsforfreshearquality.Resistanceidentificationresults indicatedthatFengtiauo 4′ posessed goodlodging andstalk breakage resistance，as wellas strong resistance tomajor diseasessuchasnorthemleaf blight， southernleafblight，andsathblight.verallthevarietydemostratedaighyield，goodqualityandmultiperesistance，ith excelentcomprehensiveperformance.ItwasapprovedbytheHunanProvincialCrop VarietyAppraisalCommiteein223Approval No.Xiangsheuo）.Tisparsytematicallysbetebdigproce，chaacteristicsndkeyspportingighield cultivation techniques for'Fengtiannuo 4′ ，aiming to provide a reference for its application and promotion in Hunan Province.
