Abstract：ThestudyclarifiedtheoccurrencedynamicsofPomaceacanaliculatainpaddyfeldsofHeshanDistrictfrom2021to 2024，analyzed the measures taken， efects produced and existing problems in the prevention and control of P. canaliculata in paddy fieldsof HeshanDistrict，andputforwardcorrespondingountermeasuesandsuggestions，oastoprovidecrtainreferencsforthe scientific prevention and control of P. canaliculata in paddy fields of Heshan District and promote the high-quality development of the rice industry. From 2021 to 2024， P. canaliculata in paddy fields spread from the river and lake areas to the mountainous and hilly areas of Heshan District， with the occurrenceareaand damage area expanding year byyear，and thedamage rate rising from 69.20% to （204号 80.97% . The prevention and control measures for P. canaliculata in paddy fields of Heshan District， ranked from high to low in terms of field efficacy， were chemical control （91.58% ， excellent），biological control 78.70% ， good），physical control （69.84% ，good）， and agricultural control （46.33% ，average）.The invasion of P. canaliculata in paddy fields of Heshan District was effectively controlled， buttherewerestillsomeproblemsinthepreventionandcontrol work：thecoordinationamongthepreventionandcontrolareas was insuficient;the preventionandcontrolperioddidnotcover theentirecycle;thereweredrawbacks inthe preventionandcontrol technologies. Hence，countermeasures and suggestions for strengthening the prevention and control of P. canaliculata in paddy fields of HeshanDistrictwereputforward：toestablishaulti-departmentjoitpreventioandcontrolmechanism，andtoimprovethepublic's masspreventionandcontroletwork;tocarroutthefull-yearprevetioandontrolinpases，ndtstablishaegularooring andearlywarningmechanismfor P. canaliculata;to establishademonstration zone of P. canaliculata'scomprehensiveprevention and control， and to strengthen the guarantee of special funds for the prevention and control of P. canaliculata.
