Evaluation of Soil Heavy Metal Pollution in Hazardous Waste Storage Room of Automobile Repair Enterprise Retired Site in City

Abstract:Thesinglefactorindexmethod,nemerowcomprehensiveIdexmethod,geo-accumulationindexmethodandimproved geo-accumulation index method were selected to evaluate the heavy metal elements of Lead (Pb) ),Copper(Cu),Nickel(Ni),Cadmium (Cd),Mercury( Hg ),Chromium(Cr)and Zinc(Zn)i n the soil of waste storage room of automobile repair enterprise retired site in city. Theresults show that among the7 heavy metals,except for Ni,Cr,Cd,Cu,Zn,Hg ,the soil was seriously contaminated by Pb ,partof the study area were particularly polluted.The Pb pollution has a Pimaxgeo value of 3.475(moderate polltion),and a Ni value of 2.472(moderate pollution),and a Igeo value of4.731(intensity to extremely strongpollution)and an I⋅mI value of 8.479(extremely strong pollution). DiferentmethodshaveproducedsimilarbutdiferentresultsThus,weshouldnticetheselectionofappropriateevaluationmethodsin the actual evaluation.
