Abstract：Basedontheprovincialpaneldata，usingprincipalcomponentanalysis，thispapermadeaquantitativeanalysisontheec ologicalenvironmentqualityoftheprovincesalongtheYelowRiverBasinduringthe3thFiveYearPlanperiodfromthetwospectsof resourcesandenvironmentalqualityenvironmentalpolutionandgoverance.Theresultsshowthat：thenineprovincesalongtheYelow RiverBasinhaveachievedremarkableresultsinecologicalprotectionandpolutioncontrolduringthe13thFiveYearPlanperiodand theirscoresshowanupwardtrend;hescoresofenviromentalpoltionandcontrolintewesteregionarehigher，hiletesoresf resourcesndenviomentalqualityinteeasteegioaregher；Ubanzatioandindustralizatioareimportantfactorsectingthe high-quality ecological development of the YellowRiver Basin.
