AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatethecorrelationbetweenhandgripstrengthandqualityoflifeincancepatients，andtonalyze genderdiferences.Methods：Atotalof291cancerpatientshospitalizedintheoncologydpartmentofahospitalinGuangxi Zuang AutonomousRegionfromOctober2O23toJanuary2O24wereselected.Asurveywasconductedusingageneralinformation questionnaireandtheEuropeanOrganizationforResearchandTreatmentofCancerQualityofLifeQuestionnaire-Core3O（EORTC QLQ-C3O）.PatientshdgriprenghamesuredndutritioaliskaseedusingtheutritioaliskSr （NRS2002）.Spearmancorelationanalysisasused toanalyzethecorelationbetweenhandgripstrengthandqualityoflifeincancer patientsofdiferentgendersandlinearregresionanalysiswasfurterusedtoexploreteimpactofandgripstrengthonpatietsuality oflfe.Results：Ialecancerpatnts，andgriptregthwaspositivelyorelatedwithfunctioaldomainsorsandglobalealthtatus scores P<0.05） ，and negatively correlated with fatigue and pain scores in the symptom domain（ P<0.05 .Infemale cancer patients， handgrip strength was negatively correlated with the single-item scores for appetite loss and diarrhea（ P<0.05） ，and positively correlated with financial difficulties scores P<0.05 ）.The multivariate regression model after adjusting for confounding factors showed that in male patients，greater handgrip strength was associated with higher scores in functional domains and global health status ............0.05， ，and lower fatigue scores in the symptom domain（ P<0.05 ）.Infemale patients，greater handgrip strength was associated with lower scores for appetite lossand higher scores for financial difficulties Conclusions：Handgrip strength has an impact on function，fatigue，and globalhealthstatusinalecancerpatients，ndonappetitelossandfianialdiulesinfemalecancepatients.Assiplead objective measurementidicator，handgripstrengthcanbeused fortheauxiliaryassssmentofqualityoflife incancerpatients.
