Abstract:To ensure the reliabilityand safetyoftheroad-railway tractor during operation,a study was conducted on the frameofaroad-railway tractorbasedoncomputer-aideddesignandfiniteelementanalysis.Three-dimensional models f the road-railwaytractor anditsframe were established byusing SolidWorks software.Finite elementanalysis ofstrength,static stffness,free modeand random vibration was then performed byusing ANSYS Workbenchsoftware toevaluate the static and dynamic performance.Theresults show thatthe maximum total displacement ofthetractor frameunder four typical working conditions of bending,twisting,braking and turning is 13.154 O mm,and the maximum stress is 229.260MPa , indicatingthat the strengthof theframe meets thedesignrequirements.Thevertical displacementoftheframeunder four typical working conditions is less than the maximum allowable vertical displacement of 7.78mm ,and the torsional stiffness is 8.5×104N⋅m/(∘) ,confirming that the static stiffness of the frame meets the requirements of both industry standardand practical applicationand the framedemonstrates high reliability.The natural frequencyof the frameranges from (20 9.267Hz to 27.709Hz ,effectively avoiding resonance and ensuring the stability of the tractor during operation.
