Abstract:To evaluatethe nitrogen removal capacityandapplication potential of strain Paracoccusbinzhouensis wg1 (strainwgl),the toleranceofstrainwgltoinorganicnitrogen inwastewaters with diffrentconcentrationsofammonia nitrogenandnitratenitrogen was tested,itsnitrogenremoval eficiencyatdifferentculturetemperatureswasevaluated, and the protein contentof the bacterialcelsduring the nitrogen removal process was determined.The resultsshow that strain wgl has extremelyhigh tolerance to inorganic nitrogen,witha maximum tolerable mass concentrationof6OO0 mg/L. Under conditions where the temperature is as low as 15‰ ,the removal rates of ammonia nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen are 63.93% and 29.70% respectively,exhibiting excellent environmental adaptability and low-temperature nitrogen removal capacity. The mass of bacterial protein accounts for more than 50% of the total dry weight,indicating its potential to be converted intomicrobialfeed.Insimulated wastewater,strainwglcansimultaneouslyremoveammonianitrogen,nitrate nitrogen,and nitrite nitrogen within 24h ,with a total nitrogen removal rate of up to 90.39%
