Abstract:To promote low-carbonand sustainable developmentinthe mortar industry,thisstudy investigatesthe design principles and keyparameters forbinarycementitious mortar mixproportions using solid waste-basedcementitious materialsand a dual-componentcementitioussystem whereflyashreplacessolid waste-basedcementitious materials.Mortar with strength gradesrangingfrom M10 to M5O was preparedandtested bycontrollng cementitious materialdosageandwater content.The resultsshowed thatboth cementitious materialdosageand watercontentinfluence mortarconsistencyandcompresive strength, with cementitious materialdosage exertingamore significant efectthan watercontent.During mortar preparation,cementitious materialdosage mustnotbeexcesivelylow,and watercontent mustnotbeexcesivelyhigh,otherwisepronouncedbledingwil occur.Theflyashreplacementratesignificantlyafectsmortarconsistencyandcompressivestrength.Increasing replacement rateenhances consistencybutreducescompresive strength,exertinga pronouncednegativeefectonearly-stagestrength. When cementitious material content is low and fly ash replacement reaches 50% ,early strength becomes excessively low,renderingthe mixture technicallyunfeasible.Overall,thetechnologyforpreparing mortarusing solid waste-basedcementitious materials withabinarycementitious component demonstrates superioreconomic viability.These findings providekeytechnical insights foroptimizingthemixdesignof solid waste-basedcementitious mortarandoferdatasupportforitsfutureengineering applications.
