Abstract：The keytoa beautiful city lies inurban design，whilethecritical factorsinformulatingurban design are timing，scope，and depth.The key to implementingurbandesignis to determine its legal statusandestablishan implementationmechanism. This paper，based on the studyof innovative urban designmanagementmechanismsandimplementation methods during the development process of Shenzhen's central area，organized an exchange meeting focused on the planningmanagementmechanisms of 10key districts in Shenzhen （including the central area）.It widely gathered experiencesand lessons from front-line managersregarding the implementationof urbandesign and conducted on-site research on the evolution and effectiveness of urban design management institutions in the Bao'an central area.The conclusion drawn is that urban design implementation institutions should maintain long-term continuity and stability，with institutional functions encompassing the entire management process fromurban design formulation to implementation.Only through an integrated management mechanism that combinesconstruction，management，andmaintenance can urbandesign be effectively implemented，thereby creatinga livableandbusiness-friendlyenvironment.
