Introduction of Experience of ZOU Xu in Differentiating and Treating Sepsis-lnduced Myocardial Dysfunction Based on the Theory of Triple-Energizer Qi Transformation

Abstract：This article introduces Profesor ZOU Xu's clinical experience in diffrentiating and treating sepsisinduced myocardial dysfunction（SIMD）based on the theoryof triple-energizer qi transformation.Profesor ZOU believesthat the tripleenergizer，asan organic whole，governs allqi and is responsible forqi transformation in the human body.The theory of triple-energizerqi transformation emphasizes the coordinated balanceof qi，blood，and bodyfluids.Dysfunction of triple-energizerqi transformation iscloselyrelated tothecore pathogenesisof SIMD.In clinical treatment，he focuses onregulating and harmonizing the tripleenergizer，diferentiating and treating SIMD based on this theory：using Cinnamomi Ramulus and Gleditsiae Spina to difuse and unblock the heart and lungs， clearing fire andremoving toxinto regulate theupper energizer；using Zingiberis Rhizoma，Fici Simplicissmae Radix， andRhei Radix et Rhizoma toelevatetheclearand descendthe turbid，fortifythespleenand harmonize the stomachto treat the middle energizer；and Guiyi Decoction with Polyporus and Pseudostellariae Radix to transform retained fluid and promote diuresis，combining unblocking and tonifying to regulatethelower energizer.Aditionall，he emphasizes the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine.His medication strategy particularly emphasizes the balanced use of warmandcold innature，ascending and descending，consolidating and dispersing，tonifying and moving，adjusting self-designed formulas according to clinical manifestations，achieving remarkable therapeutic effects.
