Differences and Correlations Between Ancient Visceral Anatomy Records and Modern Anatomical Results： Interpretation and Analysis of the 42nd Difficult Issue in Nan Jing

ZHOU Yanru，LIJingbo Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine，Guangzhou Guangdong 51Ooo6，China Abstract：The 42nd Difficult Issue in the Nan Jing（the Classic of Difficult Issues）is an important chapter on ancient human visceral anatomy.By interpreting the visceral anatomyrecords in theNan Jing using modernunitsof measurement and comparing them with modern anatomical results，this study finds the correspondence between the organs described in the Nan Jingand those in modern anatomy.It alsospeculates on the reasons for the diferences observed.The comparison reveals significant discrepancies between ancient and modern measurements of the gastrointestinal tractand bladder，while the other visceral structures show ageneral consistency between ancient and modern data.
