Introduction of LAO Jinxiong's Clinical Experience in Treating Tumor-Related Depression with Original Qi-Reinforcing and Heart-Nourishing Method

Abstract：This article introduces Professor LAO Jinxiong's clinical experience intreating tumor-related depression using acupuncture based on the original qi-reinforcingand heart-nourishing method.Profesor LAO Jinxiong positsthattherootpathogenesisof thisconditionliesinthedeficiencyoforginalqi inthespleenand kidney，coupled with an imbalancebetweenphysicaland mental states.The therapeuticprincipleof reinforcing orginalqiand nourishing theheartis emphasized throughout treatment.Clinicall，headopts diagnostic approaches including orginal qi assessment and location，staged heart regulation，and targeted treatment strategies.The foundational acupuncture prescription comprises Back-shu point，Zhongwan （RN12）point，Tianshu （ST25）point，Zusanli（ST36） point， Mingmen（DU4）point，and Guanyuan（RN4） point，combined with Shenmen（HT7） point，Yintang（EX-HN3） point， Baihui（DU2O） point，and Sishencong（EX-HN1） point.This treatment method synergisticall reinforces orginal qi， noiurishes the heart，and harmonizes physical and mental states，achieving favorable clinicaloutcomes.
