Exploration on Acupuncture Treatment ldeas for Migraine Based on Theory of Turbid Toxin Lurking in Collaterals

Abstract：Migraine，a common and frequentlyoccurring clinical condition，is characterized byrecurrent attacks， a prolonged course，andrefractory nature.Itisclosely align with thepathological featuresof turbid toxin gradual accumulationand gatherings，failureof transformationof stickiness and stagnation，lurking inthe braincolaterals， anddifficultyin clearingandresolving.By integrating thetheoriesof turbid toxinandcollateral diseases and starting fromthetheoryof turbid toxinlurking incolaterals，thisarticleproposes thatthediseaseisrooted in the brain collaterals，with the key pathogenesis being internalaccumulationof turbid toxin andstasisobstructing the brain colaterals.The treatment shouldadhere to the principlesof removing turbidityand resolving toxins，anddissipating stasis and unblocking collterals.Acombined acupuncture approach offire needling and penetrating atthe Four Gates is recommended to mitigate migraine attacks and improve the quality of life of patients.
