Abstract：This article introduces HAN Yun's clinical experience in treating acute respiratory distress syndrome（ARDS）caused bysepsis，based on the principles of addressing phlegm，heat，and deficiency.Professor HANYun believes that phlegm，heat，and deficiencyare thecore pathogenesis of thiscondition.Phlegmand heat are the main pathological factors in sepsis-induced ARDS，with the interaction of phlegm and heat being a crucialaspectof its development.In clinical practice，treatment focuseson clearing heat，resolving phlegm，and tonifying deficiency. Clearing heat and resolving phlegmaim to eliminate pathogenic factors，while tonifying deficiencyto support healthyqi and strengthen the body's resistance.
