Abstract：This article introduces Professor WEI Chenggong's clinical experience in treating patients with cough after pulmonary nodule surgery bythe syndrome-targeted diferentiation.ProfessorWEI Chenggong believes that the pathogenesis of cough after pulmonary nodule surgery in the Lingnan region ischaracterizedby four syndromes ： deficiency，cold，dampness，and stasis.For deficiency，the treatment focuses on tonifying without neglecting to securethe body's vitalenergy；forcold，itaddresses thecold without excessive warming and tonifying；fordampness， it targetsdispelling dampness withan emphasis onthe spleen；and for stasis，it involves removing stasis while also tonifyingqiandnourishingthe blood.This syndrome-targetedapproach inclinical practicehas yielded god results.
