Abstract：This paper provides acomprehensive analysis and interpretation of China's newly established industry standard "Hot rolled H stainless steel section" （YB/T 6242-2O24）.The article discusses the background for the standard's development，thebasis fordetermining itstechnicalcontent，theinterpretationofkeyclauses，andtheimplicationsof its implementation.Itfocusesonanalysingcore technicalelementsspecifiedinthestandard，suchasgradedesignationsand chemicalcomposition，permissbledeviations indimensionsandcrossectionalshape，andtechnicalrequirements.Thestudy elaboratesonthesignificantvalueofthisstandardinpromotingthestandardizedandfunctionaldevelopmentof hot-roled stainlessH-sectionstelproductsinChina，offringprofessonalreferenceforrelevantmanufacturersandusers tounderstand and apply the standard.
