Influencing Factors and Configuration Path of Party Building in Shanghai Sports Social Organizations

Abstract： The promotion of Party building in sports social organizations by local Party committees has both its inherent theoretical logic and its realistic development needs， which is of great significance for consolidating the ruling foundation of the Party and leading the healthy development of sports social organizations.By using fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis， this paper takes the Party building work of sports social organizations in 16 districts and municipalities under the jurisdiction of Shanghai as a case sample to study why there are diffrences in the Party building work of sports social organizations promoted by local Party committees. The results show that：1） Influenced by multi-factor coupling，there are significant differences in the promotion of Party building in sports social organizations by local Party committees. Improving the education level of leaders and expanding the ranks of Party members are the sufficient conditions for local Party commitees to promote Party building in sports social organizations; 2） The factors such as the identity of the Party member in charge， policies and regulations， economic development and the development of sports social organizations can not constitute the sufficient or necessary conditions for the local Party committees to promote the Party building of sports social organizations; 3） The antecedents of "multiple concurrency" form a variety of configuration paths for local Party committees to promote Party building in sports social organizations， such as resource-oriented， policy-enabling and compound-driven， in which the development of sports social organizations in the policy-enabling path has a substitution effect on the education level and party membership of the leaders，which is a feasible approach to overcome the constraints of the leaders themselves and promote Party building.
