Identification，Enrichment， and Empowerment： The Practical Path of Sports Supporting Borderland Governance

Abstract：Using methods such as literature review， field research，and inductive deduction， this study focuses on the political， cultural， and economic functions of sports. It analyzes the challenges faced by sports in uniting and stabilizing borderland， promoting cultural development， and enriching the people. The aim is to propose a path for sports to assist in border governance， with the aim of promoting modernization of the border governance system and governance capacity. Research suggests that the weakening of the political， cultural，and economic functions of sports has led to difficulties in supporting border governance，such as a weak foundation，poor channels， insufficient publicity，talent shortage，andbiased ideas.To thisend，firstly，we need tostrengthen the formulation and implementation of border sports policies， give full play to the functions of sports events，and increase publicity efforts to enhance the national identity of people of all ethnic groups in the border areas，and build a solid foundation for unity and stability in borderland.The second is to enrich the content of sports assistance， explore the value of traditional ethnic sports，andcultivate sports talents，strengthen the sports and cultural functions of border areas，and enhance the effect of cultural enrichment in borderland.The third is to update concepts and expand avenues to strengthen the economic function of sports，and to leverage the role of the sports industry in enriching the people and developing borderland.
