From“Scattered” to “Aggregated"： Identity Leap and Community Consciousnes： Construction in Regional Mass Sports Events

Abstract：Against the backdrop of fluid and multiple individual identities，the identity transition and the construction of a sense of community in regional mass sports events provide theoretical and practical references for fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation and advancing Chinese modernization.Based on the social identity theory， the interactive ritual chain theory and the "imagined community" theory， this study adopts the case study method under the qualitative research orientation， taking the Jiangsu Football City League as a case. Through in-depth interviews，participatory observations and text analysis， it systematically explores identity transition and community consciousness construction in regional mass sports events. Research findings show that individual identity construction is accomplished through a three-dimensional model of emotion， behavior， and cognition，and then multi-dimensional identity transitions are achieved at the group level.This has initially formed the four major community prototypes of emotion， symbol， boundary， and memory. Through four-dimensional construction paths such as emotional field cultivation， cultural symbol governance， cross-domain collaborative empowerment， and memory inheritance and innovation， it is elevated and solidified into aconscious，sustainable，and highly cohesive community consciousness.
