Abstract： As the highest-level and largest-scale comprehensive sports event in China， the National Games have witnessed and led the glorious journey of Chinese sports. The research holds that the theme slogan is the core carrier of the spirit of the National Games. It not only condenses the social demands of different historical stages but also profoundly reflects the evolution trajectory of China's sports industry. Since the theme slogan of the National Games was launched， it has mainly gone through three stages： "serving national construction"，"demonstrating national strength"and "sharing development dividends". It is an objective portrayal of the changes in the background of China's sports development， a presentation of the evolution of China's sports development concepts， a code expression of the inheritance and innovation of the Chinese sports spirit，and a realistic carrier for guiding and mobilizing the dissemination of values.This is specifically reflected in the intrinsic value color of adhering to the Party's cultural and ideological guidance， the inherent value color of upholding the principle of "puting people at the center"， the value expression quality color of conforming to the pace of the value shift in Chinese sports，and the value demonstration color of holding high the banner of innovation and characteristic development. This further highlights the leading role of the National Games in promoting the modernization process of Chinese sports.
