Abstract：Basedonthetypeschildren’shairstylesandthecausesdifferenthairstylesinancientpaintings，this paperuses imageanalysis，literatureresearchandclasificationtosmmarzevarioushirstyleschidreninfantplaypctures，ndanalyzes thecausestheirformationacordingly.Studiesshowthatboys haveawidevarietyhairstyleswhilegirlstendtohavetheir hairtiedupdelicately.Thediversitythesestylesiscausedbyacombinationfactors.Influencedbytheritesandteachings， therewasnotmuchchangeinhairstylesamongdiferentdynasties.However，manypicturesinfantsplayingintheSongDynasty havebeenpreserved，whicharetypicalandgreatreferencevalue.Asystematicreviewandstudychildren’sirstylesin infant play pictures is beneficial for exploring ancientchildren’s hairstylesandthecultural concepts behind them.
