Abstract：The traditional Hanclothinghasalways beenanimportanttopicinthestudyofChineseclothing historyThis paper takesethniccommuicationasaresearchperspectiveandadopts themethodsofiteratureresearch，imageanalysisndtree-dimensionalverificationofarchaeologicalfndingstodeplyexplore therheologicalcharacteristicsoftraditionalHanclothingduring thepoliticalchangeinhistoricaldevelopment.Thispapercombsandanalyzesitsculturalfoundationandthekeyperiodsof its evolution，drawsthepedigreediagramofitsevolutionandfindsthattraditionalHanclothingsillmaintains thenationalimage characteristicsof“dressunderthecoat，hairtyingandrightoverlapping”withthestrongnationalcentripetalforeasthecultural foundationforthousandsofyears.TheresearchshowsthattherichculturalcharmoftheHannationalityis thefundamentalreason forthesurvivalanddevelopmentofthetraditionalHanclothingandthenationalcormerstonetoavoidassimilationinmanyethnic exchanges.TheadvancedpoliticalandeconomicpoliciesoftheHannationalitypromotedthecirculationandcontinuationofthe traditionalHanclothing，makingtheHancothingstilltemainbodyofclothingevenundertheruleofforeigngovernments.The uniqueinclusivenessinHanclothingcultureenablestraditionalHanclothingtoabsorbdiverseethnicfeaturesandintegrate them into one through continuous ethnic integration and collision.
