Abstract：IntangibleculturalheritageisanimportantpartofChinesecultureandasignificantmanifestationofculturalconfidence. Underthebackgroundofstrengtheningculturalconfidence，theprotectionandinheritanceofintangibleculturalheritagestilhave alongwaytogo.Archives，asa“tangible”carrer，playasignificantroleintheprotectionandinheritanceofintangiblecultural heritage.Takingtheprotectionandinheritanceofthenationalintangibleculturalheritagerepresentativeproject，theHongBang tailoringTechnique，asanexample，thispaperexploresthepathofempoweringtheprotectionandinheritanceofintangiblecultural heritagethrougharchives fromfiveaspectsofpractice：collectionofthematicarchives，researchontheconnotationofarchives， accumulation ofarchives ofinheritors，utilization ofphysical archives，and precise services ofcharacteristic archives.
