Abstract：InviewofissuessuchastheoriginofthewitchcraftcultureintheStateofChuanditsinfluenceontheaestheticofChu clothing，basedontheaalysisofthetwoesearchoutesoffokloreandiconographcombinedwiththepreviousreseachsults， asystematicanalysisofthemanifestationofwitchcraftcultureinChuclothingisconducted.ItisconcludedthattheaestheticcharacteristicsofChuclothingarehighlyconsistentwiththespiritualconotationofwitchcraftculture，andwitchcraftculturehasa profound influenceonChuclothing，showing theuniqueaesthetic tasteandculturalpursuitoftheChupeople.Research shows thatfromtheperspectiveoftheresearchrouteoffolklore，theemergenceofthewitchcraftcultureintheStateofChuoriginated frommultiplereasonssuchashistorygeographycultureandpolitics.Fromtheperspectiveofteresearchouteoficonography theChuclothingunder theinfluenceofwitchcraftculturedemonstratedrichculturalconnotationsatboththematerialandspiritual cultural levels.
