Abstract：Accordingtoeirce’ssemiotictheory，Adelaispattersaredividedintothreecategories：imagepatterns，indicative patternsandsymbolicpatters.Combinedwithfouraspectsofsemantics，structure，contextandpragmatics，thculturalcootation andauspiciousmeaningofAdelaistpicalpatersareclassifidandinterpreted.Thecoreelementsintypicalpattersaeextracted byusingCoreIDRAWsoftware，andshapedeductionrulessuchastranslation，mirroring，androtationareformulatedtogenerate diferentgraphicpaternschemeswhichareapliedinproductdesignpractice.InordertoevaluatetheperceptualsemanticsofAdelaispaterns，thepaperalsocarresoutperceptuallexicalanalysisandoptimizes thepattrndesignaccordingly.Thismethod providesmaterialsandinnovativeideasforthedesignofAdelaisculturalandreativeproducts，ndpromotes themoderaplication of traditional patterns and the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage.
