Effect of Celulase Treatment on the Performance of Deep Prehydrolysis Sulfate Bamboo Dissolving Pulp

Abstract:Thissudyemplodthbamboasthawmaterialstomanufacturethdisolvingpulp,andanalydtheectsofdepprehy drolysisandcellulasetreatmentsontheperformanceofbambodisolvingpulp.Teresultssowedthatextendingthetieofprehdolysis treatmentdecreasedthehemicellosecontenthileimprovedtheockreactivityHwever,teoverlongprehydrolysistreatmentladedto the low content of α -celulose inthe bamboodisslving pulp.Celluase treatmentcut thecellulose molecularchain and“etched”thedissolvingpulpfber,andthusmodifiedthefibermorphologyandmicro-nanostructure.Asaesult,celulasetreatmenreducedthedegreeofpo lymerization and α -celulosecontent and enhanced theFock reactivity.Compared with the sample with 135min prehydrolysisand coling andbleachingtreatment,thedpprehydrolyss-sulfatebmboodisolvingpulpwithprehdrolysis(85in),cookingandbleacingand 0.25mg/g cellulase treatments,had the decreased degree of polymerization from 9O5 to 442(with areduction by 51.2% ),reduced α -cellulose content from 97% to 92% (with a reduction by 5 percentage points),and increased Fock reactivity from 24% to 75% (with an increase by 51 percentage points).
