ABSTRACTOBJECTIVEToanalyze thefocal pointsandalocation characteristicsof China’s household expired drug recycling policytexts，providingevidenceforovercoming atention bottenecksandoptimizing drug management.METHODS The policytextsofChina’shouseholdexpireddrugrecyclingpolicywereobtainedfromthedatabase.Aquantitativeanalysisof the policytexts wasconductedusing theLatentDirichletAlocation（LDA）model.Aditionall，inconjunction withatentiontheory， thecharacteristicsofthegovernment’satentionalocationonrelevant issueswereexaminedsystematicallyRESULTS& CONCLUSIONs Three themes emerged from 158 policy texts：enhancing public awarenesscampaignson household expireddrug recycling（TopicO），improvingthequalityofhouseholdexpireddrugrecyelingefortsinrelevantunits（Topic1），and standardizinghouseholdexpireddrugrecyclingprocedures（Topic2）.TopicOexhibitedthehighestthematicintensity，whileTopic 1demonstrated thelowest.China'shouseholdexpireddrugrecyclingpoliciessufferedfromunclearaccountability，generalized oversight，andsuperficial grassrotsimplementation.Theseissuesunderminedpublicawarenessofrecylingpractices，onstrained policyeffectiveness，andrevealedstructuralbiassinatentioallcationandcontentimbalancesuringpolicyformulationItis recommendedthatthegovermmentimprovelegislationandrecyclingmechanisms，innovatepublitymodels，andestablisha routinemonitoringsystem.Thiswillpromotetheinstiutionalization，standardization，andeficiencyofhouseholdexpireddrug recycling，ensuring public medication safety.
