Abstract：【Objective/Meaning】With the acceleration of modernization and the degree depening of populationaging，the problemofrural pension problem has become increasinglyprominent.Thisstudyaimedtoexplore thevalue and influenceof clan cultureinthemodeofualmutualsupportforteelderlytoalyetechalengesitacedandtoutfrwardteovatipaths to dealwiththe problem of rural pension problem.【Methods/Procedures】Throughthe literaturereviewandcase analysis，the operational mechanism and practical dilemmaofclan cultureinrural mutual supportfortheelderly were studied bytaking into accountthe diferences in clan culture between the northernand southern regions of China.【Results/Conclusions】The study foundthatclanculture，withblodasthelink，providedaculturalfoundationforruralmutualsupportfortheelderlybutfacedthe chalengessuchasthseofidividualismsuicietpocysupport，andtedsocaonbetween tradiinalcultureadode govemance.It was suggested to promote the integrationofclan cultureand modern pension service mechanism byreshaping the clanpublicspae，utilingthedigitaltools，andsubimatingteethisoffilalpietyadfratealdutyandotherinovativepaths，o as to provide new ideas and methods for rural pension.
