Impact of Digital Rural Construction on Common Prosperity -Based on theMediating Role of NewQuality Productivity

Abstract：【Objective/Meaning】Theconstructionof digital villges is animportant path toachieving thecommon prosperity. In thispaper，thempactandpathofigitalvilgeconstructinoommonproserityaseplored，indertoroideerefor promotingtheChinese-style modernizationandrealizing thestrategic goalofcommon prosperity.【Methods/Procedures】Based onthepaneldataof30provincesinChinafrom2012toO22，thefixedefectmodel，mediatingeectmodelandthrsholdefect modelwereusedtoonducttheempiricaltesttostudytheimpactofdigitalvillgeconstructiononcommonprosperityaswells the mediatingroleof newqualityproductivityandthespatialheterogeneitybetweenmajorgrain-producingareasandnon-major grain-producing areas.【Results/Conclusions】The studyshowed that： （1）The digital villgeconstructionhada significant positive impactoncommon prosperity.Afteraseriesofrobustness testsand the eliminationof endogeneity problems，this conclusionremained valid.（2）Thenewqualityproductivityplayedamediatingrole inthepositiveimpactof digital vilage constructiononcommonprosperity.（3）Theimpactof digital vilageconstructiononcommon prosperityhadthenonlinear characteristicsofdiminishing marginalefect. （4）Thepromotionefectofdigitalvillgeconstructionothecommonprosperitywas influenced byregionalcharacteristicsorgrain productionandsalesfeatures.Therefore，the futureeforts shouldfocus oniproving thedigitalinfrastructureadenvironmenttoreleasethepotentialofdigitalrralconstructioninpromotingthecommonprosprity; promotingtheconstructionofdigitalvillgesaccordingtolocalconditions;andgivingfullplaytothemediatingroleofnwquality productivity to overcome the bottleneck of marginal utility in the process of common prosperity.
