Abstract: Doping modification, as a common method for regulating the structure and properties of materials, holds significant importance in materials science research. Two-dimensional CuCrP2S6 single crystals were successfully prepared by the chemical vapor transport (CVT) method. The effects of metal Fe3+ doping on the structure of the single crystal and its magnetic and electrical properties at room temperature were investigated by various measurement methods, and the possible reasons for the property changes were further discussed. The results show that when 5% molar fraction of metal Fe3+ replace Cr3+ ,the sample retains the space group of CuCrP2S6 and no impurity phase is found. After doping,the metal Fe3+ smoothly enter the CuCrP2S6 lattice,causing its expansion and structural distortion of the Cr/Fe-S octahedra, but do not change its molecular vibration mode. Metal Fe ions doping also does not change the room-temperature paramagnetism of the material, only slightly increasing the magnetic susceptibility. In addition, no obvious room-temperature ferroelectricity is observed in the sample.
