Abstract：American white moths are typicaly omnivorous，polyvorous pests，due to its strong adaptability，reproductive capacity，fasttrasmiionspedndideangeofdptabilitytisisectisdiiulttoontroladisproetobdftr prevention，posingaserious threat tothe development of agriculture andforestry.Especiall ineconomic forest parks such as apple，cherry，walnut，etc.，thereisariskofreducedproductionandcropfailure，resultinginaseriousdeclineintheeconomic incomeoffruitfarmers.ByelaboratingontheidentificationcharacteristicsoftheAmerican whitemoth，thisarticleanalyzes the mainreasons forits outbreak and proposes several targeted prevention and control measures，hoping to provide some guidance and assistance to growers.
